Latest weekly data point to a near-term revival in Global Liquidity. The level remains a tad below the peak enjoyed in late-2024, as the chart below shows, but at least the trend is once again pointing upwards. Behind these modest gains lie both improved collateral values as bond markets have rallied slightly and a drop in bond volatility, which has facilitated lower ‘haircuts’ demanded by credit providers to posted collateral.
